This page explains what personal data the EASY training platform collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The EASY platform is operated by the partner organisations of the EASY (Emerging Advanced Skill Youth) project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union (KA2 project). For any question about your data, contact the organisation that invited you to the platform, or reach out through the EASY project's public website.
2. What we collect
Account data you provide (name, email address, a one-way hash of your password — never stored in plain text — and optionally your country or organisation), plus activity data generated by using the platform: which modules you enrol in, your progress through lessons and quizzes, your quiz scores, and certificates you earn. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we never sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
3. Why we process your data
We process your data based on your explicit consent, given when you create your account, in order to provide your training, track your progress, issue certificates, and report anonymised, aggregated statistics as required by this EU-funded project.
4. Where your data is stored
All data is stored on servers located in the European Union. Your personal data is never transferred outside the EU.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed immediately, except that any certificate you have already earned is kept in an anonymised form — your name is removed, but the certificate's code, module and date stay on record — so the certificate remains verifiable and the project can report the completion statistics required by its EU funding.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data at any time from your Account settings page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
7. Cookies
We only use a single, strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, which is why no cookie-consent banner is shown.
